Our first virtual booth at e-ECE 2020

Written on Friday 28th August 2020

It’s that time of year when, ordinarily, the team here at Liberum IME would be dotted around the globe attending various congresses, networking with healthcare professionals, and building new relationships. But as is with so many things this year, we’re doing things a bit differently and are using every opportunity available to connect virtually, and with a smaller carbon footprint!

Our independent educational platform Diabetes Knowledge in Practice will be yet again breaking new ground by presenting our first virtual booth of the ‘new normal’ at the European Congress of Endocrinology 2020 (e-ECE 2020), which this year goes fully digital!

Our virtual booth on the e-ECE 2020 event page is active from Sunday August 30th, with the conference itself starting on Saturday 5th September.

We are showcasing a selection of new and innovative learning activities, freely available to help all healthcare professionals learn about the latest clinical data and expert recommendations in diabetes, and how to apply these to real-world practice.

Here are a few examples of our exciting new resources:

  • Achieving glycaemic targets in year 1: A 5-minute video guiding you through early intensive therapy in type 2 diabetes and working with your patient to implement it.
  • Treatment with GLP-1 RAs: A 5-minute video discussing beneficial effects of oral and injectable treatment options and how to overcome patient concerns.
  • Selecting between agents based on EASD/ADA guidelines: A 5-minute video explaining the updated EASD/ADA algorithm to identify an appropriate additional agent and help people with diabetes achieve their treatment goals.

e-ECE 2020 is free to attend for members of the European Society of Endocrinology. All attendees will be able to listen to world-renowned experts, visit the e-poster area containing the latest hot topic research, discover new scientific approaches, attend Meet the Expert sessions and explore the virtual exhibition including the e-ECE Hub.

Please visit our booth from Sunday August 30th or, if you can’t wait to access the wealth of important education, visit Diabetes Knowledge into Practice today!
